In order to support community as a collective, we must honor the collective first as a group of individuals, all with unique forms of emotional, mental, physical and spiritual needs and expression. By trusting the individuals (read that back), and allowing them the safety and support to inherently be themselves; to express and impress upon themselves (as a trusted individual) as they need and please, we enable individual growth, which tends to cause communal sharing naturally.
We can neither centralize, or cut the individual off from our definition of collective, nor force the collective to move as a singular amorphous blob; for it is within the sum of our unique individuality which inspires and expands humanity as a whole.
