Death and Daisies.

My creative practice is a living contemplation, a philosophy of emotions and the human experience. I am currently exploring the intersection of death positivity and emotional health through traditional studio mediums. In recent years in particular, I have been honing techniques for a process of mixed media oil paint drawings, employing glazes to expose various layers and drawings, to create highly-symbolic, story-like worlds and figures with an odd and alluring depth. My creative work is meant to explore, and even challenge, our inner most instincts, towards a better understanding of self and the roles we play in our lived experience.
