Musings: Public Transit

I ride a lot of public transit on my travels, and I see so much love there. Yes, there are the crazies, there is also the tired mother being offered a seat, courtesy rides, regulars greeting each other after a long days work, "Haven't seen you in a while, is everything going ok?" A passing hug from old neighborhood friends crossing paths on a commute, "isn’t this your stop?" People checking for others around them, and wishing each other "be safe out there" and, "get home safe," as their conversation comes to a close. I believe we are all doing this in our own small ways. We wish life over strangers and loved-ones, despite it all. Perhaps, this is humanity walking itself through grief.
